Strife is a major theme in this chapter. It’s easy to start and difficult to finish. Don’t be the cause of it. We have to train children to understand how they contribute to starting conflict. Getting wisdom as adults with in this area is no different. Since we all are easily selfish, we don’t realize how we have contributed to strife unless someone else points it out. Wise people accept this. Foolish people are defensive. But no one wants to live in a house with it. A major way to stop it is to stop talking. Even a fool when he stops his lips is considered wise.
