Acts 13

This is a great chapter about the spread of the church to the Gentiles. At the start, notice the group of leaders at Antioch: diverse ethnically and socially. This made for a powerful witness in that community. The church was listening to God and sent out Paul and Barnabas as missionaries to the Gentiles. Paul and Barnabas were used by God to start churches on Cyprus and in Turkey. God’s mission was moving forward. Are you participating in what God is doing? Or are you too busy with some other goals? Staying on mission is part of holiness before God and love for God and our neighbor. Are you seeking out people in your neighborhood or work or play to help them know about Jesus?
