Pastor Will (and Amy) Hatfield – Lead Pastor
Will grew up in Ames, Iowa, while Amy grew up in Duluth, Minnesota. They have seven children, whom they enjoy immensely! Will received a Masters from Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa in Missions and has an M.Div. from Baptist Bible Seminary, Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. They both believe that God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.
Pastor Scott (and Marti) Owen – Family Ministries Pastor
Scott has been married to Marti for over 30 years; they have four grown children. He has been a Certified Biblical Counselor (ACBC) since the mid 90’s with his MA in Biblical Counseling. His full-time vocational ministry started over 30 years ago, serving in five different churches as either an associate or solo pastor (15 of those years in Indiana). Scott is also a Certified Conciliator with the Institute for Christian Conciliation, a division of Peacemaker® Ministries. Pastor George (and Dottie) Hatfield – Missionaries to International Students
George and Dottie Hatfield lead the international families group. They are assisted by the LIFE Team, made up of students and volunteer ministry assistants. George trusted Christ as a young lawyer and Dottie came to Christ while a Peace Corps Volunteer nurse in Chad. They have been in Ames since 1982 sharing God’s love in Jesus with international students.
Pastor Jeff (and Jenny) Wood – Pastor of Student Ministries
Jeff grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and Jenny in Burlington, IA. They’ve been blessed with five beautiful children. As a family, they enjoy doing anything outdoors whether it’s camping, hiking, biking or fishing. Together, they’ve been working in the various student ministries at CrossRoad since 2001. Jeff received a B.A. from Faith Baptist Bible College and an M.A. from Faith Baptist Seminary. They each believe passionately that mentoring and engaging the next generation is vital to the success of the church.
